Under the general direction of the Director, Business Processes and Systems, the Project Management Office Lead will delevlop systems and processes to provide scheduling and project controls support related to new product commercialization. The Project Management Office Lead will provide direction to the Project Managers that support the Integrated Development and Supply Team.

Key deliverables of the role include:

  • Develop systems and tools that can be leveraged by the Project Managers to enable establishment of integrated, end-to-end resource loaded project schedules.

  • Develop and maintain a resource model to enable cross product resource optimization and management of the vaccines and biologics development portfolio.

  • Develop and maintain a budget and cost reporting system that enables the development of business cases within the commercialization space.

  • Provide oversight and support to the team of project managers to enable fast decision make within and across projects based on real time project control information.

  • Act as meeting manager for commercialization governance meetings

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, or business related discipline.

Required Experience and Skills :

  • Expert user of advanced project management software projects in vaccines and/or biologics commercialization.

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to coach/drive a schedule-driven mindset into project sub-teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with large teams in person and remotely through teleconference/web-based interactions.

  • Minimum 15 years experience providing scheduling and/or project management support for large bio-pharmaceutical projects.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in vaccine, biologics, or general pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
