We are currently recruiting for a US Diagnostic Director, LYNPARZA. In partnership with AstraZeneca, this individual will be responsible for building awareness and increasing diagnostic testing rates across multiple tumors. The position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA and will report to US Franchise Lead, LYNPARZA.

This position will require outstanding leadership in many areas including strategy development, prioritization, medical education, external partner & customer engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop diagnostics strategyfor Breast cancer, prostate cancer, Ovarian, and Pancreas cancer;prioritize and focus tactics to increase testing and overcome barriers.

  • Gain support from seniorleaders and key stakeholders

  • Build clear understanding of diagnosticlandscape and support training initiatives for field teams.

  • Build strong relationships withexternal customers, stakeholders, and partners.

  • Provide US input andperspective to clinical trial designs and decision making.

  • Help prioritize the rightclinical trials to optimize LYNPARZA in the U.S.

Education:

  • Required: BA/BS

  • Preferred: MBA

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of (10) years Pharmaceutical or Diagnostics business experience

  • Minimum of 5 years companion diagnostics experience.

  • Deep understanding of personalized medicines and oncology diagnostics market

  • Strong relationship building, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills

  • Healthcare Provider promotion experience and bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review

  • Experience influencing without direct authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams

  • Requires approximately 25% travel, including some weekends.

Preferred Experience:

  • Product/Indication Launch experience

  • Oncology Marketing experience

  • Oncology pathology or other key diagnostic relationships
