Position Description :

The Associate Director, Neuroscience, plays a critical role in helping define strategic commercial opportunities within the pre-launch, launch and LCM event phase of the Neuroscience portfolio.

The specific responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Understanding Physician, Payer and Patient needs and translating them into commercial challenges and opportunities, target product profiles, study data requirements and forecasts to effectively drive the integration of commercial considerations into MRL product development programs (clinical, scientific affairs and CORE)

  • Working closely with cross-functional partners including those from GMax, Policy, key country and regional New Product Leaders, and Medical/Scientific Affairs, RWE in order to build robust plans to address Physician, Payer and Patient needs as well as effectively drive an integrated view of early brand strategy, market positioning, and access/reimbursement/policy/value and affordability planning

  • Organizing market research and scientific leader advisory boards to identify and understand critical opportunities and issues related to Neuroscience pipeline products and Life Cycle Management opportunities

  • Contributing to the assessment of global potential and requirements for commercial success of early assets (internal pipeline and licensing), development of scenarios based on key market and product assumptions, and development of an Integrated strategy for the product development

  • Working with the two Neuroscience GBLs to produce commercial insight into the Product Development Teams (PDT) to help build and update the Integrated Strategy for Schizophrenia and to help assess and prioritize LCM opportunities for Insomnia

  • Interfacing with Global Commercial Assessment (GCA) and Global Customer Solutions Forecasting COE to develop sand update sales forecasting for both launch and LCM opportunities

  • Providing strategic commercial input to MMD, Global Policy, Global Franchises and key markets/regions

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelors

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (business, marketing or equivalent preferred)

  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience

  • Strong analytical capabilities

  • Minimum 2 years of project management skills

  • Experience using digital and data analytics to measure impact of programs

  • Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization

  • Demonstrates high degree of integrity and ethic

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Track record of execution capabilities

  • Advanced degree (MBA/PhD/MD)

  • Knowledge of and experience in drug development (early and late), and/or health outcomes/pricing and reimbursement, and or product launch

  • Creative thinking/problem solving skills

  • Bias toward speed and agility

  • Strong understanding of the emerging Health technology and data space

  • Multiple country experience and/or above country experience
