The GHH Digital Accelerator COE will support the implementation and realization of the Digital Transformation through a flexible team that will provide deep subject matter expertise, by collaborating with markets, franchises, IT and other enabling functions. In the area of Digitally Enabled Customer Engagement, we are looking for a business technology lead to:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders in key markets to translate digital customer engagement capability needs into functional requirements, and partner with IT on technical specifications for the technology enablement of the capabilities needed to realize business aspiration

  • Closely partner with IT to ensure deployment of the core commercial package (CCP) as a key foundational technology deck for key markets, and work with market DX team to ensure business capability enablement and value realization

  • Work to support market digital “Choices” by identifying new technologies and providers and partner with IT to evaluate technical solutions and platforms that achieve business aspirational goals when the core commercial package does not meet the business needs, and develop business cases for the recommended new technical solutions and products

  • Work closely with key markets to understand performance and functionality of existing platforms and products and scope necessary upgrades, enhancements, and changes with consideration for interfaces and architecture.

Be the business owner of key digital capabilities (i.e. marketing automation, smart suggestions…etc.) and collaborating with key markets and IT to ensure alignment of business strategy and product strategy within markets, evolve digital capability globally, share best Practice, and work on Change Management, by providing global standards & guidelines

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 8 years of digitalexperience

  • Strong Project management skills

  • Strong business acumen and technical acumen with proven ability to bridge business and IT

  • Excellent presentation, analytics and communication skills, both written and oral, are required to synthesize key issues, and communicate / persuade constituencies towards specific actions and initiatives

  • Ability to build strong cross - functional partnerships

  • Well organized, highly motivated, process driven and results oriented with the ability to re - balance priorities and assume responsibility in a multi - tasking environment

  • Provides thought leadership and perspective on digital adoption

  • Rich experience in Digital Marketing and other customer engagement platforms and solutions

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s Degree and 8 years of digital customer engagement experience

  • Experience in Merck key 6 markets a very strong plus (US, JP, CN, FR, UK, DE)

  • Deep understanding of digital customer engagement technologies across multiple key markets above

  • Multi - lingual

  • Digitally advanced cross - industry experience a plus (i.e. FMCG, tech industry, banking, etc.)
